The Devil’s Dozen 100k (ROAD)

October 25 @ 12:30 pm - 7:30 pm
$5.00

Please join us for our season finale on October 25th, 2025!

This spooktacular event promises to be more exciting than frightening. Enjoy a Halloween-themed routes and post ride party with a delicious chili bar and homebrew on tap, all while celebrating Bill Watts, 11 year tenure as Indy Rando’s RBA! We offer two haunting routes: a 100% road route and a 45/55% gravel route. Both routes share many of the same roads and controls, making it easy to ride together with friends, even if you prefer different surfaces.

Both routes take riders through Tippecanoe, Warren, and Fountain counties, on the West and Southwest sides of Lafayette. These roads are Steve and Lydia’s stomping grounds, where they’ve logged countless training miles. To add to the Halloween fun, we’ve designed the routes to pass by as many cemeteries and known haunted sites as possible! Beyond the spooky elements, you’ll also experience the beauty of traditional Indiana farmland and enjoy scenic views from the Wabash River Valley.

The Devil’s Dozen Road 100k features 13 cemeteries, the haunted remains of the Mudlavia Hotel (confirmed paranormal activity), and over one of SteveNLydia’s favorite bridges in the area that crosses the Wabash River.

The Haunted Hills Graveyard Grind (45% gravel) , while only has eight cemeteries, includes the most famous cemetery in the area, Mound Cemetery. The route also takes riders past Mudlavia and SteveNLydia’s favorite bridge over the Wabash River.

Both routes start at a civilized 12:30PM, allowing for out of town riders to travel without having to wake up before the roosters and for the late October chilly morning to warm up just a bit. At the finish, a piping hot chili bar and multiple homebrews on tap will welcome riders back. What’s a chili bar? Pick your base for example, rice, pasta, chips, or tater tots. Yes, tater tots. They were so popular last year that we promised to buy two giant bags this year! Top your base with one of 5-6 different types of chili (veggie options available) and top your chili with any and all the toppings you can think of like, different types of cheese, sauces, green onion, and bacon. We’ll have Steve run the numbers later but my guesstimation is there will be almost 1,000 different combinations! As far as the taps, there will be a Brown Ale, Wheat Beer, American Pale Ale, and a porter on tap!

For out-of-town guests, we can arrange pick-up and drop-off from downtown Lafayette’s train and Greyhound depot. We also offer various overnight accommodations, including houses, campers, tent sites, and floor space.
